Can you watch movies on this thing?

I'm considering getting the development kit just to try it. Just wondering, is it worth it right now? Like could I watch movies on it, and if so, how does that work? Just hook it up to my PC or something?

DK2 used as camera data?

Anyone seen integration for the Rift within a 3d package (3dsmax, maya, etc)? I wonder how easily a Rift could be setup to be used as the motion/tracking data for a camera. Similar to how a mocap suit is used for character animation.
