so one of my controllers joystick is constatly inputing downwards even tho im not moving it at all, at first it was going up and now its going down i tried recalibrating throuth settings but that didnt work i figured maybe i hit it somewhere but it wasnt that hard and im sure its made to not break as easy so its probably sweat, maybe it seeped throuth the cracks of my joystick and messed up some sensor, i dont know how to fix this and theres no available controller replacement in my country
Do not use a regular contact cleaner. These will remove the lubrication applied to the joystick control surfaces at the factory and will cause the joystick to wear out even faster. Use something like De-Oxit Fader that contains lubrication. The preferrend cleaner would be 3Ms Novec Contact Cleaner and Lubricant but 3M stopped making their contact cleaners. Other companies make equivalents but they are only available in industrial size quantities and not individual spray cans.
