Hi, my right controller constantly selects anything it is pointed at without any input through pressing a button or trigger. making it impossible to use. If I point at the white bar to move a screen for example it will constantly keep selecting the bar like some sort of fool constantly clicking the trigger. Just to be clear my fingers are not resting on any of the buttons during this. I have powered off and restarted headset, unpaired and re-paired the controller, tried to calibrate the controller. Any help would be much appreciated.
@Darque01 it sounds like the button is sticking in the pressed down position. If it is still in warranty get in touch with meta quest support. If they are unable to help, you may be able to prise off the hand controller faceplate to see if there is anything jamming the button.
Hi Thanks for that, I thought the same, pressing the button does not do anything so it may be sticky. I have sent a query to Meta. I should also have mentioned its the quest 3 controller but probably the instructions will be transferable. thanks
