damn platform exclusives :(

I  posted this 20 mins ago and it has not shown up... I do not think i have broken any rules but if it shows up twice i appologise.

ok I can just about handle exclusives which are 1st party... I hate them
but i get it, (I still hope the oculus stuff makes it to vive and vice
versa once touch is out mind you)
And if Sony studious want to make
their own VR game for SonyVR again, i am used to it.... but FFS do sony
really have to licence up all format devs to bring out locked VR content
just for their platform?

Batman, Starwars battlefront, resident evil and probably a bunch of other stuff.,...... grrrrr!

its not even like i can buy the console and play them, i would need to buy the console AND the HMD.

Apparently
Facebook/Oculus are properly trying to tap up loads of smaller devs to
lock down to the rift. its a  crap trick and goes against everything
Oculus stood for when being KSed.  I must admit I am starting to wish I
had given my money to the VIVE.

I posted this in the other thread but this is what Insomniac Games said about exclusivity.

"At the end of the day this is a business…its not an open source world… for Insomniac its in our best interest, but I do understand that, as a consumer, there are often times where you really want to play something but don’t have a certain console. But I grew owning an Intelivision while my neighbor had an Atari. These types of things are a routine part of the video game world.”

Yeah, and I naturally assume that those who don't want to be forced to have to choose are those who can't afford more than one choice lol

To me it's like... getting angry that there is a Star Wars and a Star Trek, why not just have one single space movie? Why force someone to choose which DVD to buy? 😮
