head discomfort, anyone?

I can't wear my Rift for more than an hour, if that.  It makes my skullcap and forehead ache.  When I take it off my skullcap and upper forehead are numb.

I had played with all of the adjustments but this has always been a problem for me.

Has anyone else had the same problem?  Any suggestions?

If the hinge is too high  your forehead hurts. Too low and you get O face, so I definitely hear what you're saying.

A lot of people don't know that the front unit actually tilts on side hinges up and down, so you can angle it to even out the pressure on your face.

Mine doesn't tilt enough in that hinge to make a difference.  If it tilted more then I could make it work.

Without more tilt in the physical hinge I will require a new facial interface to fill the gap.

The key is to get the triangle on the rear of the headset almost touching the back of your neck, everyone is slightly different. It took me a bit to finally get it sitting correctly. Once you get it setup right you can wear it for hours.

I already did that.  Even with max tilt in the side hinges, having the triangle near my neck causes the facial interface to contact only on my forehead.

The hinges need more tilt, or I need a new facial interface or a new head.

Make sure the plastic part on the back is basically touching your neck. It goes pretty far back.
I don't even have a rift, I have a mixed reality headset but this honestly fixed why my head was hurting so much and also got the goggles closer to my face!

The Rift S fixed this problem for me.
