oculus doesn't care if you get the vive instead, its your loss, the vive is probably the same as the dk2
steam bought the dk1 and adjusted it to create the vive 😛

honestly people think just by saying "CANCELLING MY ORDER IM GETTING THE VIV INSTEED"
will make oculus lower their prices? no.

IF they hold the same reseller warranty, then the warranty doesn't go with the device meaning if someone else buys it... they have to buy it as is. Aka, it's kind of against the rules to resell your Rift.

Warranty doesn't transfer to the new owner if you sell something?
I've never heared of something like that and wonder if this is also true for people in the EU.
Is this something common in the US?
