Wow wow wow......... this is just incredible. Don't know how the difference is going to be when you had a 780 ti, but when you come from a gtx 760 like me (was waiting for this new series before I would upgrade), prepare to be swept from your feet...

Have you tried the 4K rendering/sampled down to 1080? If so, do you see a difference in quality?
I am picking up the 970 from 660ti, gonna be a good weekend.

Its sad that candychrist is back. Soon the Baba will be here again too. Probably.

I wanted to hear about fps difference on vr-titles.

Don't see a huge difference with the downsampling but that could be me ofc.. dont know what the fps difference is but it's butter smooth. Zero stuttering inside Freeport (the city where it all happens for people who don't have ED). I have everything on max options 😄 Can't wait for beta 2 in 10 days!!! 🙂

IS E:D using all that RAM? I currently have an i7 2600K and 8GB and so far no game seems to really use all that despite it being from 2011, so I am going to try how the GTX980 works without upgrading the rest.

I am confused with regard to gtx980/970. The cuda count is stuff all increase, same with 7ghz mem freq.
What's the performance increase? Power consumption for me I a non-issue.
