it might just be me or some special circumstance in my headset but the air flow on the quest 3 is really really bad for a device supposedly made to sit on somebody's face for hours in an enclosed space, let me elaborate
im sure we all know about the sweat problem when playing sports games or doing workouts with the headset and many people give out many solutions but id say the ultimate solution i found is to get a halo headstrap and take off the face gasket and that should fix it right?, well no
i tried it and after maybe an hour or so it lost tracking as allways and it was quite hot to the touch even tho there was nothing traping sweat vapors from going into the headset, so the only possibility is that it just sucks really bad at distributing air throuth the system
its a real shame cause in my opinion the quest 3 is really good for its money if it wasnt for this one major flaw with overheating

@Paris3165 the halo strap and no interface solution will only work if you use it from day one. You could already have corrosion damage to the internal connectors and there could be moisture still in the headset. When you use it for an hour it heats up and redistributes the moisture. Your headset is on its way out unless you remove the inner face shield and the front face plate and deal with the connector corrosion.

well thats just great, i cant really afford to get a new one and there isnt any repair shop probably in my entire country that fixes vr headsets sending it to meta could work but that would take months and they might not even fix anything so i am basicly screwed

@Paris3165 have a look at the 'Fix My Oculus' videos on YouTube. They give the novice all the detail to get inside the headset. from there, it's a matter of unplugging a few small connectors, cleaning them and putting it back together. Most phone repair shops should be capable of doing the work.
