multiple Oculus headset ownership woes...

My son & I have enjoyed our time playing around with the original Quest and recently bought the Quest 2.
Like many other owners I find it irritating to say the least that it's not possible to enjoy the multiplayer experience if both headsets are associated with the same account.
Begrudgingly I factory reset the Quest 1 as that seems the only way to log out (seriously!) in order to set up the device with a separate account ahead of re-purchasing the multiplayer content we've already paid once for.
In setting up the Quest 1 (post reset) with the same app (and phone) that's associated with the Quest 2 account the Quest 1 defaulted to the original account again with no option given to login as a different user / account!
In order to set up a second device under a different account do you really have to use a different phone too?

This is not so much on quest but on the game developers.  The game developers set permissions and how it syncs up, especially for mulitplayer based games, it wants to make sure your are paying for they game, in a way its like DRM.

In 80% of cases its going to be a single user basis.

The phone app has a log out button. Click on settings then scroll to the bottom.
The app must be logged in to the account you want to attach the headset to. You can log in/out of the app at any time (unlike the headsets that are locked).

Thanks, I'll try that.

This still doesn't work sadly as when logging in as a different user the only option at the dreaded Facebook login is the previous account.
Even after deleting (as opposed to offloading) all Facebook apps and Oculus, turning phone off and on and reinstalling Oculus app, signing in as a new Oculus account user (with a separate newly linked Facebook account association)
at the link Facebook / Oculus account stage only the other headset's associated Facebook account is offered.
Perhaps there's a way of deleting app data on ios devices that I'm unaware of, otherwise a 2nd phone is the only answer until a much needed software update is released.
Until then the Oculus Quest is a great looking paperweight!
Disappointed.
