1070 or If you can stretch it a bit more then the 1080 mate 🙂 when you say blurry, is it on the white bits like words and so on ? If yes then that's normal on this model due to the type of lenses used mate 😉
A PC with lots of gadgets inside and a thing to see in 3D that you put on your head.

Check your IPD if you haven't.  If it's still blurry, you might need your glasses if you where them.  If you don't wear glasses and you have 20/20, not sure.

Mine is pretty clear.  Not razer sharp like my monitors but I can read everything and it's smooth. A good test is SHOWDOWN.  If that isn't clear and smooth something is off.  Just my opinion.  That's one of my go to demos for friends and they love it.

This is possibly due to Scaling/Supersampling.  The Rift has a resolution of 2160 x 1200.  When you use supersampling it takes a higher res. and puts in into the Rift's default res. causing a sharper image.  The Home screen is using lower res so that your FPS stays up so no one gets sick. (Again my take on it.)

That's the Top VR card as far as Nvidia goes.  I have a GTX 970. =(  I wish I could afford a 1080  😃  One day.  😃  Well have fun in VR.  FYI the Recommended Card is a GTX 970 or greater with a minimum of a GTX 960 or greater.  So you are at the TOP of the chart with a GTX 1080
