on mobile and i just tried to quote someone, when i did this, the text cursor was stuck in the quote and i could not move it out of quote boundary

really sorry to say this cause you are a great help @cybereality, but this is an interesting approach the web team is taking toward resolving the issues, maybe one day we'll get there.

I agree, I enjoyed the convenience of the yellow highlights for new posts, also the bold and higher brightness are abrasive. First thing that popped into my head when I loaded up the forums was, "Ok... I don't like this." 

The straight up black and white feels like the forums are being high jacked by a progressive commercial.

out of curiosity, and i am sure there IS a good reason.. but why do you guys not just use a generic cookie cutter forum like most other sites use.

perhaps a little boring as you do not stand out from the croud, but at least it will work properly? 

(I dont mind these forums, but stuff like the quoting bug is really irritating)

To get around the quoting bug, I toggle HTML view (the </> button above). Then you can get out of the quote boundary, add some new text, and toggle back to continue.

what is going on with the forum? i feel i have entered a retirement home with full accessibility options in the "on" position

and will there ever be mobile version again, currently it is so so bad it is hard coming here
