hi guys. just finish building my new computer, INTEL i76950x, 5tb ssd drives, EGVE1080,32gb memory, x99 ultra gaming MB,1200V power supply.DVD/BLU-RAY Drive 24x dual layer DVD writer ±R/±RW/RAM, Processor Cooling Corsair H100i GT Hydro Series High Performance CPU Cooler and now when i test it with the oculus Rift compatibility tool for Windows it is telling me that it is not recognize my CPU(WTF), should i ignore it and get me the rift or am i screwed?
It's just a lookup table. There are going to be obscure CPUs and recent CPUs that they haven't added to the list. Is your CPU better than an i5 4590? (I think that's the official minimum, I CBF checking) Then you're fine. Go for it.
