lots of people are getting lost tracking issues with their headsets and that maybe for a number of reasons but before you decide to send it back heres what happened to me and how i managed to fix it
all this i wrote bellow is just how it happened if you arent interested ill put a summary bellow:
so my quest 3 that i had for about a month at least suddenly lost tracking as i was playing thrill of the fight 2 i sweat alot so naturally i thought my sweat seeped into the hardware and fried it but that wasnt the case it wouldn't turn on properly and whenever turning on it loaded something then it was black screen so i send it back thinking id get a replacement for faulty hardware but the techs at meta said the headsed worked just fine so they send it back and it indeed booted up just fine so i thought that was it then i played the same game again and it lost tracking but this time i decided to leave it for a few days and not messing (left it for about 2 days ) with it and it booted up just fine so it was probably humidity and overheating that caused it to lose tracking and not boot up
in summary:
if you sweat alot or just play for a long time and the headset gets hot during play sessions and it loses tracking try out all the meta recommended methods and maybe try leaving it for a few days(around 1 to 2 days worked for me) before sending in for replacement

PS:i forgot to add that in case your headset is stuck in a black screen loop where you try to shutt it down by holding the button and then it boots up again you have to acces the boot menu and shut it down from there
