If you'd ever tried the original Vive cable (the horrible heavy triple wide cable) you'd love the Rift one. 🙂

It could be longer (I use extension cables on it), but otherwise it's pretty good considering what the competition was doing at the time.

I use an extension lead so don't have the problems you have.

Lead?  I think you mean CABLE.

Just get a Cable Management kit from Amazon that hangs it over your head.

yeah so do i and i have a cable management system to  to keep the wire off the ground its suspended in the air and they are on 5 meter intention  cables just the wire is so annoying it tuga on the end that goes into the rift right by the headphones when you put it on your had it pulls the cable cus its not really secure just freely moves when headset strap flexes i should velcro it so its just enough slack

when i first read this post i was not sure what you were referring to because you used the word lead but then i realized that you meant cable and yeah i can agree that the cable gets in the way for example with beat saber i cannot face my two sensors in the front i have to recenter my position to face the third sense in the back because this puts the cable behind me over my back which is really cool so if you do not have three or four sensors i really recommend that type of setup and also if you run a general search about virtual reality cable management you can come across some great home grown solutions here is one that has great info

Nothing wrong with lead, but I have an electronics background so I'm not confused by it. 🙂

I just realised that may have sounded like something other than I intended. I mean nothing wrong with the term "lead", I understood it immediately. I didn't mean there's nothing wrong with the actual lead. 🙂
