Unity scene doesn't show in my Rift

Hello,

first, i'm brand new to unity and Oculus Rift development. So i tried a step by step instruction to get my scene working in unity with my Rift. Here are some informations about my system enviroment first:

- My Rift works absloutely flawless
- Windows 10 64bit
- Latest Oculus Rift Software 1.35
- Unity - latest version 2018.3.6f1
- Oculus Integration 1.34

For testing purposes i followed several tutorials on Youtube and other webseites. But not a single person ran into the same problem as i. To keep things easy i will let you know what i'm doing in unity.

1. Make a new project
2. Got to the Asset Store and download the Oculus Integration
3. Import all files from Oculus integration. Unity does it without errors.
4. Make sure that Build settings has PC,... and Player Settings has XR-Settings -> Virtual Reality Support and Oculus in the list
5. Add my assets to the scene - Those appears perfectly fine in the scene and game window.
6. i add Oculus->VR->Prefabs->OVRPlayerController into my scene.

In all tutorials and developer sites i've searched, my scene should now be viewable in my Rift. All i have to do is to punch the Play button. If i do so, the scene appears in the game Window and runs normal. But my Rift doesn't show anything. If i set in on my head, the normal home 2.0 enviroment will load.

So, i had a look into the comsole.

So it seems that there is a package for oculus missing. No one had this problem! So my question is. From where do i get this package?

Thank you.

Edit: Got it to work. I had to disable my firewall to show all of the packages in the package-manager. Then i had to activate the Oculus-package and then: Tadaaaa! 🙂
I don't understand why no one explained this important step in all the tutorials.

Now i'm happy. For now... 😄

Hi! Thank you for the information. I've been looking for this answer.
Where do I "activate the Oculus-package"?
I'm a newbie.
