UE4.3 official and support for DK2

In the Plugin area of UE4.3 official (out in the last 5 minutes) the Oculus plugin is still listed as version 1.0 - I like anyone else in the general public don't have a DK2 to test for support in UE4 yet, but I understood we'd see official support in this release - WHICH IS OUT NOW!

So is DK2 support built-in to UE4.3?

Just had my question answered in the new Unreal release notes:

This is GREAT news! 🙂
I hope the've made some performance improvements as well. Until now, not a single demo except "Mobile Temple" runs smoothly with my setup (i5 4750, 8 GB DDR3, GeForce 760) in 1080p.

This is going to be great - now just waiting for the headset and some other peripherals ordered. 🙂

Unfortunately it seems like UE 4.3.0 doesn't really support the DK2 in the end, even the new Couch Knights demo is not working properly:

Also no mention about Oculus in the 4.3.1 hotfix preview.. Will we have to wait for UE 4.3.2 to get OVR 0.4 integration?
https://forums.unrealengine.com/showthread.php?22885-4-3-1-Hotfix-Preview-Release

The strange thing is that in the recent "Project Update #59" they mention:
You can download the Oculus SDK v0.4.0 Beta from the Oculus Developer Center at developer.oculus.com. Note that this initial release is Windows-only, but it includes the Unity and Unreal Engine 4 integrations.

But i couldn't find anything related to Unreal Engine on the "ovr_sdk_win_0.4.0" download..

Any news on this situation? Am i missing something?

Just not install the 0.4.0 BETA

Looks like there is work around for this
you don't have to uninstall the display driver, but if you put it into Extended mode, and disable the Oculus service, it should run with UE4

I don't have the DK2 in my hands yet so, cant test the VRMS museum (Demoed at Pax East and Made in MA) in 4.3 DK2 support
