Hi! Is there an approx ETA of an updated version of the Meta XR plugin that can run with UE5.5 Epic launcher version?

Fwiw I started to attempt updating source in v69 MetaXR plugin and it seemed like a lot of deprecation. Was hoping it would be a quick fix but was outside my ability to get at a glance.
Hopefully Meta has eyes on this as I have continually seen updates in the sample github. ie: Movement Sample had a huge update recently for 5.4 and v69. Ideally we get 5.5 before EOY but I haven't heard any details yet.

Looks like version 71 of the Meta Plugin dropped, but it only has a one liner of text that really says nothing, it doesn't even say what version of Unreal it supports, wow!
In the .uplugin file it says its supports "EngineVersion": "5.4.0", so no 5.5 just yet.

Thanks for the updat.e. I'll probably give it a try in 5.5 and see what happens. Good to see another update so it will only be a matter of time either way. Appreciate it innit.

Wow that is a great feature unlock! Hopefully we see 5.5 for the next update.
I tried to hack around the errors but could only get the engine up. Broke the plugin to crash out when MetaXR runs in VR and couldn't make Quest builds. It is enough though where I can at least keep my VisionOS side of the project working.
I might try again over holiday when I have free time but went back to the Vision Pro hand tracking for now. VisionOS is finally semi-stable in 5.5 for the first time and I'll stick with 5.4 and port over until the next MetaXR update hits.

I'd love to try Vision OS, but it's out of my budget. I'm sure the Meta XR for UE5.5 plugin will show up eventually.

Fwiw- Regardless of price, Quest overall is better at this point for fully immersive content. Especially if you are using upper body tracking with it. Really feels amazing in Unreal.
Unfortunately my specific project is hand tracking focused and straddles both platforms so I am stuck.
Meta XR works well in 5.4 for development but VisionOS is pretty rough there. Trying to get to 5.5 stable with both platforms so I can finally release some content with my pawn tech. Need parity before pulling trigger.
Will be looking forward to the 5.5 update! 👍
