Hey everyone,
I bought a Sapphire Pulse 7900XTX around launch, and I've decided I'm going to get an Oculus Rift 2, an an extremely excited! Naturally, as with anything AMD, I did some online research, and lo and behold, AMD apparently has problems with VR. I wanted to see if I can get some suggestions on how to get an Oculus Rift 2 to work the best it can, and any workarounds that currently exist for helping with the performance issues.
The Oculus Rift 2 has a wireless mode, but it seems that AMD's h264 encoder is a lot weaker than Nvidia's. Are there any workarounds for this issue and getting a sharper experience? The games I'm looking to play are Blade and Sorcery, The unofficial Attack on Titan VR game, and the official one that set to come out later this year (which will only be available for the meta store, thus locking my options for a headset). Are there any issues I should expect with the first two games, and if so what solutions exist now?
In regards to VR in general, Is there anything I should know about using an AMD GPU? A specific driver version, certain settings to use, are the thread that I missed that delves into all of this, etc.

It's important to know which headset you are planning to get. Oculus Rift 2 is not something that exists. If you mean the Oculus Rift-S, that should work very well with your AMD GPU. If you mean Meta Quest 2, it will work, although the picture quality may not be quite as good as you might get with an equivalent Nvidia card. Nvidia cards just have better hardware video encoders.
