otherwise, I think its insanely cool how well a cartoon style works in the rift. I really felt immersed in that world... despite being a tiny tiny gnome. 😉
Yes, I always feel excluded in my preference for an Atelier type game with a guy focus as opposed to a girl focus. I know most gamers are guys and prefer cute underaged girls, but I always fall for the handsome cool guy in glasses (black butler ;)) or Jade from Tales of The Abyss. Most games that are male focused tend to trend towards action which isn't bad, but I would like some nice RPGS (like Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny) that will let you have a male character able to build relationships with other male characters, or at least stop throwing you in the scenario where you're surrounded by woman who want nothing more than to get naked in a hot spring with you, but oh I'm losing focus. Yup EQUALITY GO!
They've added a second character in the room. I am growing optimistic that perhaps they will continue to add to this demo. As far as I'm concerned this is the best NPC experience in a Rift demo.
