Another freebie on Oculus Home today - i recognised who it was from (Penrose Studios) so grabbed it immediately - if anybody remembers The Rose and I (possibly only on Gear VR?) you'll know how good this new one is, called Allumette.
Well it's pure genius. Like all VR experiences, choose a quiet time, relax and enjoy.
Man i thought so too, imo its the best one I've seen yet. **SPOILERS** Sooo was it suggesting that the little girl died at the end? Gave away her sparkler thing & froze to death maybe? That was just my immediate thought when it showed her with her mom
@jmalmsten Couldn't agree more. After watching Henry I was so disappointed since there had been so much buzz about it. Allumette, on the other hand, was amazing, though I didn't really care for that stop-motion movement of the characters. Almost thought I was having FPS-problems in the beginning.
If Penrose makes a longer, paid movie in the future, I will definitely buy it for a reasonable price.
