The game is visually fantastic, but it seems to serve more as an "intro to VR space gaming." Which if you're like me and have been Rifting for 2 months straight... the initial shock factor goes away and you end up needing real stimulation. I feel that this game gets kinda dragged out, slow, and leaves the player lost more often than necessary. Still worth a play if you're new to VR; hopefully a future game update will provide a better character advancement system.

Adr1ft is appealing to anyone who loves Space and is often compared to the movie Gravity... fair enough. The game has some really beautiful moments and at times defines what VR can potentially enable. A lot of people have claimed that this game will make you sick - I haven't had this problem at all, in fact having the helmet on seems to provide a great point of relevance as you move around....

I only gave this a 3 though. The controls are rough, they are not easy to learn, and even after spending some time with the game you never seem to perfect them, often times struggling to line up correctly and grab some much needed oxygen before dying. What is worse is that if you don't play for a week or so, it can be hard to come back to and try to remember how everything works.

The game is a bit repetitive and lacks a strong sense of direction overall. It doesn't grab you very fast and doesn't keep you on the edge of your seat (I play standing myself) as the trailers would like you to believe.

I am glad that I tried it out (got it on sale) and do want to finish the last section before truly saying whether or not the game is worth playing - it has been mostly okay.

I have given this game 3 stars. Oh hang on I think I am going to be sick.

The game looks really great and you get a brilliant feeling of space... hang on, sick again.

I am sort of upsent that the constant search for oxygen forces to rush everywhere... nope sick again.

Just wished I could play for 5 minutes without worrying about seeing breakfast again!

Visually stunning and appropriately stomach churning where spinning in space would realistically be stomach churning.  Being more VR sickness tolerant than most, it's understandable how this could be an issue for some.  My chief criticism is that it quickly becomes repetitive and stale.

played this game through in a single sitting.

Initially was quite a nice ambience (floating about in zero-g) but soon became frustrating. I had a lot of issues with the camera requiring resetting. There is very little direction to guide you on the correct path. I managed to get to the third level section right from the start, but didn't know I had gone the wrong way, and a door was just locked to prevent me finishing the section.

The end of the game just became a chore. I forced myself to finish it, as I doubted I would play again.

The story seemed to have potential through the game, but by the end was deeply unsatisfying.

Ultimately, there are some brief enjoyable experiences, but much of the game feels unfinished and unloved.

Game is nice for a single playthrough.  Nothing really drags you back into it except to just float around.  Story is kind of broken into bits and it takes a while to piece of all together.  Def worth a purchase but if possible wait till a sale

Great visuals, interesting game mechanic and a brilliant introduction to VR. But that's all it is. As a game it lacks .. well something ... becomes monotonous after a while. Feels like a playable tech demo rather than a polished game.
