I find this arcade-style game to be rather fun. The storyline is decent, similar to that movie "Edge of Tomorrow," where the Hero of the story can die repeatedly and live out various Timelines. I'm currently on the final Timeline (3 total) and having a blast. There is also some multiplayer support for the Horde Mode (wave shooter style).

While not a AAA-type game on par with Robo Recall or Chronos or Arizona Sunshine, it's still pretty damn fun if you're in to mass-destroying zombies.

Plus, if you enjoy Arcade shooters like TWD:

... then this game kinda lets you feel what it is like to bring that in to your home.

I've jusy been watching some video reviews on this to see if it's worth shelling out for - think I'll give it a go.

For $20 I found the investment worthwhile. But it is hard to gauge recommendations based on price considering free experiences like Robo Recall and Dead & Buried. I have no regrets though. I have even jumped/shouted from accidental jump-scares.

New here. Got my Rift a few weeks ago. Bought this game as it looked fun. Definitely worth 20 dollars. Though haven't tried horde yet as matchmaking doesn't seem to be working.

Not bad, its basically House of the Dead VR. The cutscene animations are cool, I like how they move the camera around as if you are walking with the NPC (Though I'm sure some people weak to VR Sickness will not). The only thing I would complain about is that there is no blood. You're shooting up undead zombies, I get that they are cartoony and everything but there was a missed opportunity for some cartoon gore here that I think would have made the game all the more satisfying.

Funny how the NPC's in this indie VR game are animated better than the ones in Mass Effect Andromeda. 😛

I'm about 6 missions away from beating it (I think); on Timeline 3. And omg it is kicking my arse.

As you go deeper in to the Timelines you end up having to diffuse these zombie bombs, which involves a form of puzzle solving. Near the end you have to solve the puzzle with one hand while killing zombies with the other, simultaneously. And the zombie bombs are timed to explode.

So you basically have to keep your eyes on something like this:

While also trying to shoot the hell out of this:

I'm actually exhausted. Good times.

Quick update:
I'm actually a bit disappointed with the final boss battle. It keeps bugging out.

The fight is hard enough trying to figure out how to destroy the boss, but after awhile he just starts bouncing in place and nothing happens. Clearly a bug. Hopefully this is something the dev's are aware of and can issue a patch. It's the very last battle in the game, and I can't finish it lol

I started a New Discussion ("Drop Dead glitch?!!") and repeating it here to better insure more "exposure".  Thanks Zenbane ----

Is there a glitch/bug in the "Get To The Chopper" level?  I've
apparently played thru it (destroyed the Generator and killed all the
zombies) 4 or 5 times now.  And I end up being there near where that
Power/Generator was ... and nothing else happens.  I wait 'n wait 'n
wait ... shoot up the landscape ... wait some more ... and still I'm
just left standing there.  What up wid dat?!!  Could I have missed
something?  Or?  BTW,  after blasting everything away, I still do hear a
zombie groaning, but there are none to be seen anymore.

One of the best things IMHO about the game as well is that it can be played quite decently whilst sat down too.
