Aplication problems on Latam devices

Good afternoon everyone,

We are a company that is in Spain that develops VR simulators for Quest. We have a product that works like Netflix that customers can download simulators developed by us and can play them.

This system works perfectly in Europe, and we have ventured to deploy it in Latam. The problem arises that we are having problems running the “Netflix” simulators.

Is there some kind of regional blocking that prevents us from running (always with the user's permission) applications from an already running application?

Meta only supports their headsets in 23 countries, none of which are part of LATAM. https://www.meta.com/en-gb/help/orders-and-returns/914401682626684/

I know they do limit availability of software depending on the region you are currently in (travel with a Quest to a different country and games/apps may disappear from the store) and certain features like voice commands and ai are region locked to the US. So this may be a related issue you are running into. I haven't heard of the specific issue of an app spawning another app being affected by region though.

I have seen with the customer, that they have version v.76 and we in the offices have v.74 installed on the glasses. That could be a problem? I have read that v.76 updates to Android 14.
