In playing (on my Quest 3) Arizona Sunshine 2, chapter 18, Buddy is in the lab and just woken up. I'm behind glass and can't interact with him. From watching videos of others, after the doctor (bad guy) makes his speech buddy attacks him and the game continues...
But I'm finding Buddy is poised, but frozen. The guy makes his speech and... nothing. I can move around. But I can't do anything to initiate the dog to attack. I think this is a bug as I've watched numerous videos and the player doesn't initiate anything. They wait for the dog to attack and then they can continue the story...
Is this a bug?

Hey there! I'm reading your post, and it sounds like Buddy is fully bugged out at this point. You'll likely need to restart the chapter if you can or revert back to your last save in order to fix it.
That's what I thought, but in watching other folk's videos I don't see them doing anything to command buddy? The narration goes on and on, and yes the narration states "a smart guy would tell buddy..." But I don't see a way to do it? Do I need the microphone on to say something? I can't use the controller to denote the guy as someone to attack as there is glass between us and the UI doesn't extend through the glass to show "attack" as when we fight zombies. I wave and pound on the glass (like I see others do) but nothing!?
What am I missing? How to I command him to attack the guy?
OMG! How freaking dumb am I that I missed this? I just quickly tried it and bingo, buddy attacked! I think I tried it before but A) I wasn't pointing at the guy directly, and B) there wasn't any UI (like when you command buddy to attack zombies) to show who you are pointing at or that the command is being sent.
Sheesh, honestly this shows I better just stick with games. In a real zombie apocalypse my lifespan would be measured in days, if not hours. You though would be a survivor! 😉

Thanks for your comment. I was so mentally in a loop I was convinced that his was a bug. But if you read the rest of this I'm just clueless. I got past this point. Can't believe how dense I was. But again, appreciate you chiming in.
