Arizona Sunshine co-op horde mode any good?

Hi all.

I'm getting the rift next week After the sale unfortunately 😞 
But I wanted to get Arizona Sunshine while on it's sale as my mate already has it.

My mate says it's good but he's  only had a rift for short time himself so wanted to know if any problems with co-op online modes at all?
Also do the guns that spawn are random or based on wave survived number ?

From my playthroughs it appears the guns spawn in the same order at the same points.
Great fun to play the second time onwards as you then have the 'time' to explore those bits you missed.

Not had a chance to play co-op yet...
