If you have given Asgard's Wrath a chance to hit your VR Library, then what are your thoughts on how it approaches VR RPG?
I still have a long way to go to complete this game. As a completionist, I will likely hit every single side quest and achievement. This title has a lot in common with multiple styles of VR RPG's, including both Chronos and SkyrimVR.
Personally, I love the innovation that the game introduces in terms of VR PRG mechanics:
Unique hand-controller implementation
Unique Companion controls
Unique puzzle solving capabilities (first person player, companion, god-mode)
I will end up writing a full review of this game soon, but I wanted to get an idea of how the community feels in terms this title's ability to "raise the bar" and "set a new standard."
I voted yes. Imo this game sets new standards for all VR games, not just rpg. There are games that do individual things like combat, puzzles etc.. better, but this is first VR only game that brings it all together good enough with solid and lengthy package.
This is my opinion after 10 hours. I doubt it change from that.
