I'm having trouble with the above, there are two statues on this level (at the moment) that want an offering and will give an item in return. The second one I've found is a rat, no problem there, there are a couple of rats throughout. The first statue though wants a spider and I can't find one anywhere. Naturally I took to the internet and found someone on a play through and in theirs it wasn't a spider that the statue wanted but a chicken - plenty of those further on in the level! Is there a problem with my copy of the game (using a Quest with link) or is the spider in another area within the tomb?
