Only 2 days left ❤️ I think most of the screenshots below are from September 5, but I didn't notice them before today - click to enlarge a screenshot:

Didn't see your post before now Tom, sorry - seems I didn't get any notification about your post (does happen with quite some threads).
Asgard's Wrath does have much fighting - but will give you some exercise. It's a very different game than Lone Echo 2, but Asgard's Wrath is more stable (I've not had a single crash), and graphics are worse, but not that much. Asgard's Wrath is much bigger - and the music might be the best of any VR game. I'd say it's worth more than aud$50.
Nothing compares to Lone Echo 2, but Asgard's Wrath would be on my top 5 of the best VR games I've ever played... Maybe like:
1. Alyx
2. Lone Echo 2 (due to the crashes, or might be my number 1)
3. Lone Echo
4. Asgard's Wrath
5. Medal of Honor: Above & Beyond
- and Stormland as number 6 if I had to continue 😇 But take Asgard's Wrath in smaller potions to keep it fresh - or it can be somewhat repetitive. I'm taking a break right now - been doing time in Vox Machinae (singleplayer) and Battle Sisters the last days 🙂
Btw, if Asgard's Wrath is blurry due to TAA, try one of your oled hmds - might work wonders 🤓

I've now tested my love for pancakes - again - and I spent 3 hours in God of War Ragnarok. It's not bad, and some vistas are beautiful. Many textures look fine with the PS5 - but no, even with a Metascore of 94 and being the highest rated exclusive Playstation game for the PS5, it can't hold a candle to the real thing:
Being back in Asgard's Wrath, it's simply 10 times better or more than the old-school Ragnarok. My companions are so much more impressive in Asgard's Wrath - being able to physically give a high-five. Being able to hold my sword/weapon, being able to interact with the world in a real-ish way - and the world is all around me. VR is a true quantum jump for gaming compared to the best pancakes available.
Also in the scene above - I have to break my staff in two - and then carefully aim and throw it toward a target. And again I forgot "never wear a sweater when gaming" - because after a few fights it'll get quite hot, lol.
I'll be back later - and where did I put that t-shirt and the shorts... 🤔

I've spent more time in Asgard - Odd and I did not agree at first, but in the end he gave me his heart 😍 - it's now in my backpack 😎
It's a very physical game - and great for some cardiac workout for an hour or two 🙂
After playing some more God of War Ragnarok, I've started to appreciate the puzzles in Asgard's Wrath more - it seems these may require some more thought (but I've only been playing Ragnarok for about 4 hours). This puzzle in Asgard's Wrath had me going for some minutes, as I had overlooked the solution:
For the above puzzle, first you have to locate all the pieces, and then these need correct placement. There are about 120 placement possibilities - but reduced to 2 or 4, if you know where to find some clues.
Btw, travelling in the real-world is overrated - I mean, where can you find such impressive monuments in the real world? 🤓
Admitted, I do like to clear a location for enemies, and then just to walk around and enjoy the awesome monuments.
I also met ... Woody ... but I'll take a rain check and get back to him ... later - he wants to give me some challenges which I assume means more fighting:
I did see some dude writing in a 1-star review in the Rift Store:
"Lagging a lot. Trying to play over Air link and is laggs a lot. not rekomended, 3080 and a good CPU".
This is simply not true - at least not with the Rift CV1. Even using a close to insane res of 27 mill pixel per frame (combining both eyes = ss 2.5) I mostly get solid 90 fps. Or I could just lower to ss 2.0 (17 mill pixels for both eyes) for solid 90 fps.
Did read some other dude also complaining - he also used airlink, but using my beloved Rift CV1, the hmd this game was originally made for, performance with the RTX 3090 is simply awesome. I could not ask for more (ok, I could, but I really do not need more gpu power for this game).
All my images show Rift CV1 ss 2.5 quality - note how sharp and non-blurry the distant backgrounds are, this is the advantage of extreme amounts of super sampling. The image quality is totally sharp even with temporal antialiasing (TAA), also for very distant objects - but TAA was always razor-sharp with Rift CV1, many due to the SDE.

Seems to be a rather tough time for Asgard's Wrath 2 - the game only has 2,186 ratings in the Meta Store with only an average 4.2/5 rating - should have been at least 4.6/5 or better for a true AAA game. In comparison the high-end version of Five Nights at Freddy's Help Wanted 2, released within 24 hours of Asgard's Wrath 2, now has 2,326 ratings for Steam and PSVR2 combined - average 93% rating. So high-end FNAF2 VR has more ratings than Asgard's Wrath 2 - that's something to think about, and FNAF2 VR got no promotion compared to Asgard's Wrath 2, lol:
Bonelab got 10,000 ratings the first week in comparison, right now Asgard's Wrath 2 with 20 million Quests sold should have gotten minimum 10k - 20k ratings (remember the game is free with Quest 3), only 2k ratings look like the game is tanking to me - same for Assassin's Creed Nexus with only 2,400 ratings (average 4.3/5).
Even UploadVR cares so little for Asgard's Wrath 2, it's game number 17 on their list of the 25 best Quest 3 games:
www.uploadvr.com/top-25-best-meta-quest-3-games/
And it's ranked even lower at number 20 for the 25 best Quest 2 games:
www.uploadvr.com/best-oculus-quest-games/
UploadVR rated Asgard's Wrath 2 only 60/100:
https://www.uploadvr.com/asgards-wrath-2-review/
Well, UploadVR loved the original Asgard's Wrath and rated that game a solid 100%:

For those wanting to see the real Asgard's Wrath in all it's glory, I've made a post showing some images from the original highest-end PCVR version, which still makes my RTX 3090 sweat - and will do the same for owners of 4070 - 4090 gpus when cranking up the res:
Right now the Reddit post has more than 30k views, Meta should pay me for making such commercials, lol 🙂 But Meta deserved great praise for making the very best PCVR games available, and Asgard's Wrath is still king for the 100+ hours of content.
