Beat Saber, Custom Songs and Modding

Hello,

Firstly Id like to mention that I have been loving the Quest 2.
Im recommending it Pretty much to everyone I have the opportunity to.

But what i'm not loving. Beat Saber. Not due to the game. Or quest implementation of it. I actually love the game in principal and in practice. But I DESPISE The Music. I Hate it. So I was Excited to see that it was possible to Mod the game to use custom Levels. And Use Custom music. I pursued this for a short time. But when the head set warned me that I could be voiding the use policy. I reframed from installing the Mod.  I do not want to be banned from using a piece of hardware I ended up investing almost $1000 into  including Software.
I under stand that Oculus as a business has no direct connection to the devs of Beat Saber. And may only have placed those warnings despite modding Beat saber not being of any interest to Oculus legal team.
But to me the threat is there.
So I wish to pose a suggestion.
I find the music in Beat saber grating. I try to play it. But am very annoyed by most if not all the music. But, Love the game play.
So my suggestion is this.
A modder has developed the ability to add custom songs to Beat Saber. Another has built a platform that will generate Custom maps simply from a link to a song on You Tube.
One could argue generating content for a game, using a youtube link could be a form of Piracy.
But I would argue. I payed for Beat Saber. I payed for the Quest. AND I pay for You tube Premium.
And the Software required to generate new maps is open Source as near as I can Tell.

Ergo. If I use all these Assets to create a more enjoyable experience in a game and hardware and services I payed for.
I should be able to use Them how I see fit. If it provides me no financial gain, nor am I distributing the material ?
I do not see how using songs I payed for in beat saber is any different then, me playing the drums to a songs from a service I pay for over a speaker.

I'm not a legal expert. So The in's and outs allude me.

So I suggest this.

I think Oculus, Facebook, You Tube and which ever devs. Should add that you tube link functionality for YouTube Premium Subscribers  To almost infinitely extend Beat Sabers replayability and enjoyment factor to more then just fans of Techno Dance Music.
And widen its audience to lovers of all different kinds of Music.

I hold no owner ship of this I idea. ANd I hope that The Devs at Oculus work with the Devs of Beat saber and You tube to make this a reality.

Thanks for the Awesome product.
