BigScreen (Virtual LAN) FREE on Steam!

I've been watching and waiting for this for a while and yesterday they announced that BigScreen is being released for FREE on Steam today (28th April).

For any that don't know about it already it's a bit like Virtual Desktop BUT multiplayer! You can share the room with your friends from around the world. It has positional audio so you know where the person is who is talking. You all have your own personal screens but if you have something you want to show the others you can push your screen to a big screen up front for all to see.

It will be great for general chit chat, watching video's or playing games.

Although the main app is currently free they may release paid for additions like avatars and extra environments

I've got it installed now and am typing this on a decent sized curved screen on the balcony

According to Steam it's 11 hours and counting!

This app will be a good test of my supposed 152Mb (soon to be 200Mb) internet connection.

I'm not getting a very smooth experience when trying to play games, it looks like about 20fps in Fallout4

I imagine if you are sharing content it has to stream said content to the people you are sharing with. If so, bandwidth will definitely come in to play!

I have it downloaded but haven't tried it myself yet to see. I'm a bit sick at the moment. Actually quite sick >< Debating going to the hospital. Long story, totally off topic so yeah, we'll save that lol.
