BlazeRush

The game was just updated to support Oculus Rift.

It's a top down fun racer like the old micro machines games.

yes. I'd go back to 0.5.0.1 if you want to play right now.

This is why consoles are great. Just turn it on and it goes. One little thing out of place on your PC and everything is ruined. Probably the most frustrating pieces of equipment ever made. Now I gotta go and google how to roll back my runtime....whatever the heck that is

download the runtime

They might make you uninstall Oculus 0.6.0.0 first ..but worth trying just running it and seeing what it says.

is this going to affect all my other demo's from working? It seems everytime something changes, other things get messed up.

calm down ..it takes like 3 min to go back to 0.6 when needed. MOST demos have not been rendered with the 0.6 sdk yet.

FYI, I got BlazeRush to work again while using the 0.6.0.0 runtime by setting my rift to the right side of my main monitor when in extended mode ..weird

I'd just like to take a moment to say that Blazerush on the Rift is the greatest videogame moment of my entire life 😮 . I can barely comprehend what I am witnessing. I've been gaming since Pong was the latest and greatest home console in like 1980 or something.

Leaving the VR out of the equation completely, the game itself is incredibly well made, graphically astounding, gameplay is perfectly balanced with plenty of strategy to employ. It's my new mario kart essentially. Add in the VR and have it implemented perfectly.....and I mean 100% perfectly......and it amounts to the most incredible VR experience I've ever had period.

Bravo to the makers of the game who I understand made the game with zero VR functionality and implemented it later. What a feat. I really hope a lot of other developers sit up and take notice of the way they've done it. Diablo would be perfect for this kind of God View.... heck, even plants vs zombies would be great hahah.

😮 😄

I just tried that, but weirdly I can't change monitor order when the rift is on, after installing runtime 0.6. Windows says it can't save that monitor configuration.
