Body of the Night

Hello fellow VR fans and developers,

It's my pleasure to introduce you to a small side project of mine entitled "Body of the Night".

I will unleash it for Halloween for free and I`d like to invite you to my webpage http://www.bodyofthenight.com to get a better idea of what it`s all about.

This project was born out of a passion for VR, short films and horror anthologies. It`s not a game, there is no winning or losing. There are also no inputs other than the HMD. Call it an experiment in VR storytelling. It is similar in format to a few demos you may have played for the Oculus but I think this one has quite a different TWIST to it.

I`m still putting the finishing touches on it, so I may not be around much to follow up on my post here but I will post back once my teaser is up.

To anyone out there that has tried BOTN, could you help me confirm a few issues with the DK1?

1) I had a report that the OSX version has an OVERGLOW (like waaay too much glow) on the right camera only.

2) The title font is the crappy default font instead of the kickass font from the poster (all versions).

I'll include these fixes in the DK2 version.

Also, does the Linux version even work?

I have no DK1 and did not have my DK2 connected for a short test, but I get this on Linux:

Yes, same has been reported for the MAC version.

May have to pull support for MAC and LINUX since I don`t know how to fix this.

This is a really cool idea. Once you post DK2 stuff, I'll be checking it out.

Won't be long... found a fix or workaround for the 3 major issues. Working on minor stuff now.

DK2 version not working here no matter what modes and adjustments we tried. Thanks for trying though.
