Can we get scary apps that feel like this?

The first video is a prank but the video but at 0:54 is where it could get interesting. Like being in a VR quiet house then it goes nuclear. It would be scary.

It would really set the mood. It's scarier in VR because when the lights are out in the room and it's just the goggles and game it's like really happening. The distractions of you are in reality and just in a game that isn't are gone. How I feel when I was playing Fear 2 in VR through VorpX.

Funny, you mention Fear 2. I had a crazy experience with that. I was playing it in my room with the lights dimmed. Then, at the moment a scary action scene was starting, the real life light-bulb in my room blew out. Scared the crap out of me.

Not sure how scary this is... but Call of Cthulhu is coming in 2017.

That should be interesting in VR.

Makes me think of the beginning of Fallout 4, everything is serene and normal for a bit and then the bombs start dropping. It's effective, but it's also one of those things you can only do once. You can't undrop the bomb or despookify the world, so it's a tactic that's really only an option at the start of the game. I imagine it would be pretty effective though.

I had a similar experience when watching a horror film once. I was watching this film late one summers night when suddenly my curtains started swaying and bulging. I jumped up and nearly shat my pants like you. I then grabbed hold of an ornament and shouted to whoever was behind the curtain to come out. Turns out to be a cat that had jumped onto the curtains through an open window. Luckily for him he let out a meow before I began bashing the curtains with my ornament

yeah, I couldn't keep playing as I wasn't sure when that girl would show up.

It's completely different when you are zoned in. It's like a dream where you don't think about anything else like the presence of reality but that it Is reality.
