I find it very disappointing that I’ve purchased games (that I wanted) on my sons account. The game is shared to my device HOWEVER, the DLC’s that have been purchased do not transfer. I also cannot buy a DLC on my account because it says I have to purchase the game (due to it being a shared game). I find this to be a huge flaw and should be disclosed when purchasing a game that can be shared. If you can share the game, you should be able to share the dlc, or at least allow the dlc to be purchased on the shared copy…. Otherwise you basically have to buy a copy for each oculus in your home in order to advance in the game. Very disappointing.

I a just learning and working out how to sort out two devices in our house. Could you turn on app sharing on each headset, and put th eother as the secondary account- and then both play on the device with your profile as the secondary account? I believe this would mean both could share what each other buys, including songs and (maybe DLC's- sorry I am not sure what that is but i am assuming it is additional features purchased within a game).

unfortunately it doesn’t work that way. It’s by account, no device. Both accounts are set up on both devices (one device was purchased a few weeks after the other) DLC’s are downloadable content. You cant play on the same account on two different devices either… sadly, dlcs don’t share ☹️

It's a ridiculous "feature" that they have implemented. DLC is not visible on shared profiles, and that is the way that they have intentionally designed it. I wrote to support asking about it and they replied saying "This is actually intended behavior, DLC does not get shared with app sharing."

This is crazy ridiculous. I centralize all purchases for my 10yo son's games on my account and I am now realizing that I cannot purchase DLCs for him unless I purchase base games AGAIN! This is a complete rip off!
