DISASSEMBLED! - The Devs has gone above and beyond!

I did a video on the pre-release not knowing it was a worlds first:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKA3zK2mV88

Not only did the Dev tell me I was the first to play and make a video of the game. He presented me with a cool 'Limited Edition' avatar, which I featured in a screenshot here!  🙂

He's also revamped my old 2D avatar model with loads of cool new 3D ones. What a cool guy.
I am over the moon.

Yes and a very good one, still in development and very polished. I have to admit I like these types of games in VR they remind me of the pure and sensless fun I used to seek in the old arcades.
It's also on my list to show people who are new to VR directly after they have played 'First Contact' I used to show them Robo Recall 2nd, but this is very similar and a lot easier for them to handle.

You know what I really like about this game?  The people behind it. They allowed me early access and also allowed me to record and publish the gameplay with my thoughts.

It was all a standard routine for me and I had moved on to the next game.

They sent me a tweet to say they really enjoyed my play through and that I was the first NON-DEVELOPER to actually play and feature their game. They then presented me with a 'Limited Edition' avatar as seen in the link above.

I was over the moon at this point but the goodies didn't stop there..... Throughout the day they also revamped both my YouTube Header and Twitter profile, bringing it into the modern VR world. A planned new INTRO for my channel is in the works and for something I never asked for or expected, (I kept telling them they had done more than enough) they still went above and beyond.

This is a very unique trait only found in certain people and for that I cannot thank them enough.
I am old school and I think the modern generation of gamers  take games for granted these days. They can't comprehend the human element and hard work that goes into making these games, it's even more harder for VR as you have to make sure the game looks ok from all angles and perspectives.
It takes a kind act like this for you to really appreciate the good people behind these awesome games that we get to experience and enjoy.

To Lance and everyone at Reversed Interactive I thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Sorry you feel that way.
you are correct there are a lot of wave shooters out there.

With Disassembled we wanted to see how for a wave shooter could be pushed on the Oculus platform visually and mechanically, We would love to create a game that everyone would have interest in but sadly that's not possible.

Maybe we can peek your interest with a later project

I think wave based shooters are a great way for developers to enhance their VR skills.

Looks OK.

Much better (VR friendly) setting than the smeer fest that is Space Pirate Trainer anyway!

I only have two sensors and live in UK so no room scale 😉

It would be cool if devs had a forward mode where the targets mostly stayed in sensor range and not one shot was fired from behind or from the side, for those with normal salaries without the luxury of room scale.

You make a very valid point and forward play mode should be added.

This wouldn't be possible for the initial release as the build is already being prepared for release,
but we will be sure to add the option to the following release.
