I have been trying for a few hours to get these Wii games to work (sonics' and marios'), and I am a self-declared expert in Dolphin for these games (only these ;)), as I've had to reset Dolphin settings per version, for my 3d surround, several times.....
My rig is quite upgraded, 2 sli'd gtx 660s, win 8.1, 64-bit, i7@3.40ghz, 16 GB ram
Got the rift this week....
The Wii games I've tried, seem working (can't get past the first screen), however, the lenses are off, I've attempted using Dolphin [VR-Hydra] 4.0-5378 SDK 0.4.4, select game/properties/VR/... Screen settings, and most don't make any difference.
Can anyone hep?! 🙂
I wish there was a forum or wiki that allows pictures of each setting for each program for each game ....
Hi, I have also been playing around with Emulator with my DK2 and have dusted off some old classics and I have only just put Mario Kart and Burn out 2 down!
So a few qs
Are you running your DK2 in "Extended Desktop mode"
In Dolphins graphics option are using "Direct3d"
Are you using any kind of joy pad or control as I use a Xbox-360 controller and have you gone into the Dolphin emulator settings and manually setup your button configs for that pad. My analogue sticks didn't work and then I remembered to go in manually and setup my button configs. You can Google game controll.ini files for varies games but I prefer to set them manually.
Every time I start Dolphin I have to have the headset set up the correct way I intend looking or the game starts in the DK2 in the wrong orientation. I had to turn my head the first time and then game snacked me in the face as I realised my mistake. I have to reset the camera and that resets to correct the image in the headset.
I did get some to work, thanks for your suggestions! Mario Galaxy 2 is pretty awesome! I'm working on getting Sonic Colors to work now, it's nearly perfect, but I see a big glass square in the middle. If I can get rid of that, I'd be golden
