Dead and Buried, my best Rift/Touch experience yet.

Had a game of Dead and Buried tonight.
I cant believe how good this game is playing shootout with 3 other random guys (decent people too).
At first I sat on my chair playing, then found it wasn't really working as I couldn't take cover.
Then played on the floor and what a hoot, ducking down, kneeling, standing and hiding behind imaginary barricades, sticking my gun over the top or around the side and peering out before shooting these people.
Hit my desk a couple of times trying to pick up other weapons though, so wish I had a slightly larger area (about 3-4 foot square).
Obviously felt and looked like a right tool too, but I was alone so didn't matter.

Give it a go, it is fantastic and easily the best game I have played so far.

Yes favorite so far- the mode where you have to fight the hoard of people and such will put some work out on your hands.

Just watched a vid of this game and it's not my type of game I'm not big on multiplayer and mindless shoot em ups but if a good 1st person role playing game like the elder scrolls I'll buy it strait away

This game is a blast - Got to play with a few people that were having just as much fun as I was. The experience is awesome when you can tell everyone playing is just enjoying themselves and not taking things too serious. Quick Draw is fun - almost more fun watching people coming up with gestures. The shootout was awesome ducking and moving around - I know now I want a bigger play area for sure.

I think I was one of those random guys.  That was a ton of fun and that boss was a tank.  Lol. Really fun and hard horde mode.   I saw that the mic was voice activated in the game, I have a desk mic and the rift mic- do I have to go into the sound options to switch to the oculus mic or is it automatic like the audio? Wasn't sure what mic I was using lol

Gave it a whirl aswell last evening and I completly agree with you fellas - it's awesome. Haven't played Horde yet (just Shootouts and Bank Robbers or what it is called) and it was immense fun.

I do have a slight issue with my room size (can only manage just over 3' square), where I couldn't reach the gate to push it open. I could with my right hand, but not my left due to my table being in the way.

Yup - aside from sims, this is the best Rift game to date for me. Definitely best Touch one so far. Lots to try yet, though.

Edit: Would be nicer if I could work out how to get past the ranges though (already easily scored enough).
