Also, use the barrels to your advantage, you can clean up most of the middle enemies with a well timed shot.
You can even use it during the boss phases.
No Cover? I spent practically an entire round last night trying to snipe someone's head barely poking out from behind the 200 ft high perch they were camped behind the whole time, and while they had no problem shooting me, even when I had the crosshairs squarely fixed right on their head I could not make contact. (yes, I tried compensating for distance with slightly raised crosshairs but I don't think ballistics like that are calculated in this game, at least I couldn't tell a difference).
This is also inconsistent, certain "perches" are more problematic than others. I noticed this in other levels too, that the edge detection on objects around a "perch" is hit or miss at best. I also encountered a situation where I spawned with nothing but scope and magazines, so I had to try and shoot someone over 500 yards away with a REVOLVER.
This game is very bare bones and something like a large, open sniper level really makes that apparent.
At least in the other maps, theres balances with the different weapons, so if someone is say camping with a sniper rifle and hiding well enough so no one can get them, eventually a grenade launcher will spawn to balance the situation. That cannot happen in the new map, so I'm confused as to why they would put in such crap.
