DiRT Rally on sale on steam 45$ bundle might be cheaper if you have dirt 3, but would buy the bundle anyways dirt 3 is fun.

As other have said CV1 support should be coming soon.

I hope I'm not the only one who buys stuff on Steam at full price.. then doesn't start playing it until it's been on sale!

No sir... unfortunately, I must admit you are definitely not the only one. I'm in recovery & starting to get better though, I think. I now know I have way too many unfinished games to possibly justify buying another at full-price right now. Unless it's totally awesome and in VR anyway.

Yeah, it's good fun even in 2D, but pretty brutal as a driving sim. One thing I found was that, by default, the car setup often seemed to be complete nonsense that made me slide off the road on every corner. I downloaded some setups from the Steam workshop, and that made them much easier to drive.

I did like the race where I got to the end and found I'd been driving on three wheels for the last mile. I hadn't noticed a wheel go flying off when I hit a tree, and through the steering was just a bit funny.

I really can't wait until this one gets VR support.  This was one of my absolute favorites with the DK2.  Watching replays was amazing, although uncomfortable at times when the camera took control of your head movement.  The best part of the replay was when they put you at a stationary point beside the road and you could watch yourself scream by at real speed.

Nothing quite like drifting and being able to look out your side windows naturally.

Yeah, not having camera control can be a problem when they are not setup well.

I bought Dirt Rally on day one of Early Access and used it with my DK2. It worked well in Rally stages but, never ran smooth for me in Rally Cross; I hope they have that sorted for CV1. Overall, it's great game and will remain one of my favorites for quite some time.

I am such a sucker. I bought grid motorsport due to VR support, this got broken and never fixed, then Dirt Rally is announced with full VR support, so I bought it at full price, and played for 10 mins on DK2.....

and not been able to play since. I really should have hang back on DiRT until codies proved their loyalty to VR and known they were not going to cut it and run as with Grid.

but this is my fault... fool me once and all that stuff.

I wont be doing it again however next codies VR game i will be waiting till it is either fully supported or is in a sale. Hopefully VR support will come again, but by the time it does the game will be far cheaper than when I bought it.
