you have to install the latest build (1339). Its not an official release yet (its called unstable) but it already works really well.

are u able to run snowberry.exe, select doom and run it? do u see the doom ingame main menu?

I sadly have some geometrical issues too. In general everything works like a charm. Detecting the rift (in extended mode), starting game, etc. But as soon as I move my head, the walls start to stretch and change their geometry.
I hope for a fix in a later versions 🙂

It works but I get about 17 FPS if I disable all the settings I can think of!
Come on, if you can't get Doom 1 running at 75FPS, what can we play at 75FPS?

I cant get it to detect the oculus for a reason..

I have Oculus rift on extended. starting the Virtual desktop.. starting the doomsday with doom1 or 2 and then it shows on my monitor the same image on Oculus.. And choosing the oculus option in Doomsday menu will just make it show 2 screens split as well as on the oculus.. So i got a bit problem here 🙂

Is anyone else having trouble with their gun being pointed straight down unless you tilt your head so far back you can't see?

Rift not recognized. Using Ext and Win 8 64.
Worked on (can't remember version) with the DK1.
In fact I played through Doom & Doom2 in the Rift with that version.

Looking forward to playing through with Doomsday...
