I bought my son and I an Oculus Quest 2 for Christmas and we both love Echo VR, but whenever we try to join together in a party it never connects. We always get a server failed. Does this have anything to do with being on the same wifi network?
We are friends in Oculus, we can send each other an invite, and the invite goes through which sends one of us back to the main screen to load into the game, but it always fails with "server connection failed".
I would like to know the answer to this one as well. I have the same problem, one person can get on but if you try to party up it says "server connection failed". I heard that something like this could be related to router settings??? Not sure, but if anyone knows why two separate accounts on two separate wifi bands within the same house has these connection issues please let me know the solution. Thanks.
