Escape room games

Hello
I recently purchased oculus quest and am enjoying it very much. I was curious to know if oculus was going to make more escape rooms available? I have purchased  Dark Matter. and think it was an awesome game. As I'm sure you know there are very many escape room VR games such as "Escape the room," "We were here," " Inescapable VR underground" etc. on the web. I would be very interested in these style of games given that they are spectacular in VR. Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Most adventure games are just like escape rooms but in more than one room. Dark Matter would by good for you. Lots of puzzles with no combat. I Expect You To Die is another one you should like.

You should be looking up puzzle games. They are basically games with puzzles and clues that you use your mind to solve instead of a gun.

Here are a few that I think you would really like based solely on the fact that you like escape rooms. Before you buy any you should look up some reviews of them on YouTube.

I can say Down the Rabbit Hole and A Fisherman's Tale are both superb games. I haven't tried Shadow Point or The Room yet

You'll need Oculus Link for this one, if you're using Quest 😉

Oculus Rift CV1, Valve Index & PSVR2, Asus Strix OC RTX™ 3090, i9-10900K (5.3Ghz), 32GB 3200MHz, 16TB SSD

Yea let us know if you have a computer that can run games and if you're willing to use the Oculus Link feature. If you are there are MANY more games that open up for you to play. Just on the Oculus store for Rift S games there are many more and when you bring Steam into the mix there are probably hundreds of games you would like.

While Oculus doesn't currently have plans to develop more in-house escape room games, There are indeed some fantastic escape room experiences available on the platform, and with your enjoyment of Dark Matter, I have some recommendations that might scratch that itch:

Highly-rated VR escape rooms:

  1. The House of Ashes: Dive into a chilling story with puzzles and immersive environments.
  2. Transpose: Manipulate gravity and solve mind-bending challenges in this unique puzzle game.
  3. I Expect You to Die: Embrace secret agent life and tackle complex puzzles under pressure.
  4. Stardust Corsair: Explore a spaceship and unravel its mysteries in this sci-fi adventure.

Physical escape room alternative:

While technically not a VR escape room, if you're open to physical locations, Focus Time Escape offers highly-rated themed escape rooms that might provide a similar feeling of immersion and collaborative puzzle-solving. They boast unique, challenging experiences with intricate stories and engaging environments.

Remember, it's important to note that Focus Time Escape focuses solely on physical escape rooms, so they won't have the VR aspect you originally requested. However, if you're looking for a thrilling and interactive escape room experience, it could be a fantastic option!
