Please post your rating of this game taking into consideration fun factor, value for money, overall polish and using the following criteria if you have purchased/played the game:
I actually loved this game but sadly it was a little too simple.
Esper 2 is akin to a puzzle type phone app... done in VR. Its actually done quite well, with a quite amusing story line narrated by Nick Frost (amoung others). I loved the game concept however the puzzles are really quite simple, you will whiz through most of them. However, it was so well done I couldn't put it down. I think I whizzed through it in 2-3 hours and I was really dissappointed when it ended.
Fortunately it was cheap.... and really at that price you can't go wrong.
I would love to see an Esper 3... but please ramp up the difficulty!
It didn't take too long to complete, but based on the price and the fun i had playing it, if you like puzzle-type games, i would certainly recommend it. The interface is certainly intuitive and the narrative was very amusing at times.
I'm waiting for Esper 3 now too.
Oh and nice one @Shadowmask72 for setting these threads up.
For the price I think it's definitely wourth it, it's around 2-3 hours wourth of gameplay and has a great script and voice over. Probably one of my favourite short narratives so far but maybe it's just because I like Nick Frost! 🙂
The controls and gameplay were simple, but effective. Not a tremendous amount of depth to it, but it did have some charm and some moments of truly clever game design sprinkled throughout.
Oh nice, I just noticed that they've retroactively bundled in Esper 1 with Esper 2 and it's now called "Esper the Collection". That's a nice surprise, and means more game for your money, eh? :+1:
It's hard being the voice of reason when you're surrounded by unreasonable people.
This game just gives me a message saying "connect a head movement sensor to continue" ?? Is'nt that just what my oculus is, a head movement sensor? Anybody?
I just beat ESPR last night and I'm playing through ESPR 2 this week. A great experience.
The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because there were some "collision" issues/bugs in the game. Overall though, I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys humor and challenging puzzles.
