I'm playing Farlands and really enjoying it, but I'm having some trouble. I get the feeling I won't be the only one as some of the things in it aren't very well explained...at least, not to me. I have a few questions to those who've gotten to the end.
It says I'm missing a good number of bugs and fish, but I've been to the same areas a hundred times and keep finding the same stuff. How do I get the others?
I never have "basic meal", but I always have the others. What is basic meal and how do you get it?
I have creatures wanting white fruit, but I can't find any. Is that locked to the last couple areas? I'm at the Hive right now at level 7.
In the Hive...WTF? I'm lost here. I've gone through all of my fruit and nothing's happening.
That's about all I can think of right now. Any help is appreciated.
Hey all, anyone having the issue where the garden simply does not grow? All my fruit are white and I come back each day. They are sparkling, but I can never harvest them. I've waited 4 days but just cannot get them
is the red giffle there? if it is you need to press a different button on the remote as the middle button makes the giffle pollinate the fruit. think you need to press the up button
I missed some scans when the wibwoms were at level 1, and now I don't think i'm able to get them. all of my wibwoms are now at level 2 or higher. is there a way to edit the save file or something, i don't really want to start over just to get some scans. just want to maybe set a level 2 wibwom back to level 1
I have trouble to mimic the Kolerons sounds. Claps and movement are fine. But when i should do the 'Aaahs' or 'Ooohs', then it doesn't work at all. It doesn't matter how loud, deep or high i do these sounds, nothing will do it right. It is annoying and dissapointing.
I don't know if sound matters. I wait for the other colorans. If they lean left/right with clapping their hands, i do the same. That works pretty well so far. But i don't know what i should do when they stand still, looking a bit upwards and making 'ahh'. Or sometimes they lean left and make 'Ooooh'. In all that cases nothing seems to work.
Afterwards the lead makes 'Ooh' two times. I guess he give me the hint to do the same - making the noises.
My microphone works very well. I have no problems with voice attack so far.
I think the timing helps, that's why they stand and wait if it's wrong. Also accentuate the move either left or right so the HMD give a clear indication to the sensor what you're doing
Right. They stand a while and waiting for my move. The left/right movement works pretty well and there is no issue with it. When i have to lean and clap, it works perfectly, no matter how long i need. But if it comes to voices, i fail every time. That's really difficult.
I'm having issues with the Giffle's. What is the Pac-man looking icon?. I got off the game earlier, and not going back to it night, but will tomorrow. Do I have to press something? I can't fulfil the needs of the Giffle.. I tried pressing a bunch of buttons.
I went back to this old game the other day, and will go in every day until I finish it. 🙂
I also wish the screenshots were higher resolution... They're so small!
It's been quite some time since I played, so my memory is a little hazy. But I think the pacman icon meant they want "social interaction". Which generally means either they are ready for you to name them or you can give them a ball to play with (once you've unlocked the ball). I can't recall exactly what button to press, I'm afraid. 😞
