So there is supposed to be an open beta for From Other Suns, the new FTL-like space shooter from Gunfire Games (the guys that brought us Chronos and Dead and Buried). Supposed to be this weekend from 29th sept - 1st oct. Does anyone know when it will appear on Oculus Home? They are leaving it a bit late, would have thought it'd be on there by now to give people a chance to pre-load like Landfall.
No multiplayer available. the game is pretty monotonous so far. same thing over and over and over. are they relesasing more tot he game eventually?
Apparently you need at least 1 friend in Ur occulus friends list, bug atm.
I agree, seems very repetitive. Um surprised at the thread on reddit how people don't mention this.
If this game had actually flying in space, taking a docking pod to the station/ship, it would be a lot more interesting. Atm it's basically a level loading game disguised as something more.
Visuals are kinda average. Woulda loved more realistic models like lone echo. Your ship could do with more interactivity and feel more homely.
