G29 Racing wheel pedals don't map correctly to Project Cars. Anyone else?

My G29 Racing wheel pedals don't map correctly to Project Cars for some reason. I have the logitech software, everything is current. The logitech software shows the pedal layout like it SHOULD be which is clutch, brake, acceleration YET the Project Cars game interprets that as acceleration, clutch, brake (the brake is the accelerator pedal) Again, I go into the logitech software and it is mapped correctly so I am confused on how to change that. The options within the Project Cars game don't seem to allow you to edit entire pedal location so I am at a loss on how to correct it. Any help or anyone who has experienced this would be great to hear from. Thanks for your time.

Firstly, by way of reassurance, I have the exact wheel working fine in Project Cars, so stress not.

In Project Cars, go to the controls options and first make sure that you have selected the G29 separate wheel and pedals profile.  If you had selected the other option, change it and try the game again.

next, if that hasn't solved the issue, check at the top of the settings screen.  What you might not have noticed is that there are a number of tabs, each of which takes you to a different settings screen.  I'm not at my PC at the moment, but the tab you need is called something like assignments or mappings.  Once on that screen it should be fairly obvious what you need to do to make your pedals work correctly and IIRC, to also map your shifter, if you have one.

good luck and let us know how you get on

Thank you. What I discovered was Project Cars was incorrectly assigning the wheel. (It was deciding it was a G920 on its own. The picture of the 920 did match the G29 in game for some reason but...) Following your steps though will get you to the right place where you can tell it that it's incorrectly choosing the wheel, manually set it to G29 (which it also has a picture of a playstation icon on its graphic which confused me a little as well) but then it is all resolved. Thank you for taking the time to help. I appreciate it.

No worries and good to hear that you have it working.
