Golf +, is quick play against real opponents?

Are these real people I'm playing against?  A lot of chip ins to win and it seems every time they say if the opponent makes this they win, they make it.

Hey hey @scott.scharton! From everything I could find, it looks like quick play can be a mix of both real people and bots.

Basically, if you're connected to the internet and there are other people online looking for matches it will be against a real person, but if you're offline or there aren't any others looking for matches then it would be against a bot. If you're looking to only play against real people, I'd suggest creating your own lobby where you can adjust all the game settings like that.
