Have you ever tried the game The Lost Bear? - It's one of the best 2D VR platform games!

The Lost Bear was originally made for Sony Platstation VR (PSVR) and launched in 2017. My guess is that Oculus contacted the devs in 2017 and asked for a Rift version, which the launched in 2018:

The game is here:

It's one of the very few game rated at 100% (perfect score) by VRFocus, and the reviewer concluded:

"Offered at a launch price of £9.99 GBP, The Lost Bear offers value for money in its creative use of the medium opposed to longevity, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. Despite being a relatively compact experience, OddBug Studio has created a tightly knit series of challenges invested in an eye-catching world topped-off with a VR implementation that will undoubtedly be copied by many other titles before the year is out. It’s hard to fault the team for what content is there, as in those few hours of gameplay it’s likely that you’ll find The Lost Bear to be one of the most compelling PlayStation VR videogames to date."

The game is not available on Steam, and apart from PSVR may be an Oculus exclusive. In the Rift Store the game has an average rating of 84%, which is quite good - based on 28 ratings. The game works nicely with Touch and is played seated. The game reminded me a bit about Inside. The game can also perfectly be Revived - but more about that in my review from the Rift Store:

"Awesome game - especially using Rift CV1
I did try to Revive the game using Valve Index, and it works perfectly. Still high-res hmds may reveal too many flaws and low-res textures, which you really don't notice using oled hmds, like the Rift CV1. I greatly prefer the Rift CV1 for this game. Using super sampling (ss 2.0) this game truly shines on the Rift CV1.

This is actually a great game, although first it looked somewhat mediocre to me, but VR increases the immersion tremendously. Also you will have to perform some precision jumping, but not too much - and you'll need to think here'n there.

Apart from Witchblood there aren't many great 2D platform games in VR, so this game has little competition - and thus in VR, it's close to reference within this genre.

The game was made for PSVR first, but that's not a bad thing - it means that the game has passed Sony's very high levels of Quality Control and Assurance, so if you like 2D platform games, this one is a must, especially in VR. Using a GTX 1080 and i7 7700K, I get solid 90 fps using ss 2.0."

Btw, there's a trophy guide here, I haven't checked if it works for the Rift version also:
