House of the Dying Sun Anyone?

It just came out on Steam early access today and looks like its getting some really positive reviews. Was wondering if anyone had tried it on their Rift yet as I'm thinking of picking it up. Also, does it have HOTAS support?

I got this game today and, oh my gosh, is it incredible.

Ever since I started seriously considering a Rift the one thing I wanted more anything in the universe was a VR version of Freespace/TIE Fighter etc. Elite: Dangerous is great but it's not solely combat, long stretches without much happening, etc.

THIS GAME IS IT! It's amazing. Control is tight and gunplay feels very satisfying. VR is immersive and looks incredible, even more so considering it's the work of a single developer. If you've been looking for the true VR TIE Fighter successor the way I have.... get it immediately.

Does it require a controller or can you use m/kb?

Says it doesn't support flight sticks. How silly to make a game like this and not support flight sticks. What was the thinking behind that?

Even if there is no HOTAS it's super cool, you can see that they were influenced heavily by Battlestar Galactica (the recent series)...same music, same canon sound, really dig it....I only wish the cockpit was more refine...but that's cool

It supports flight sticks. It's just not official or primary or whatever you want to call it- dev doesn't want people to buy expensive HOTAS for it. That said, I used the one I already had and it worked great.

I was checking this out last night, it looks pretty good. Am I right in believing this is single-player only? Not that that's an issue to me, I was just surprised with this type of game. Anyway, I may grab this over the weekend.

I played only 2 or 3 missions, but I didn't see any multiplayer option in the menu.
Alright I will try my HOTAS with it, I just didn't bother trying it after reading posts that said it was unsupported
