How and why is this PC link audio bug still a thing?

How is this still an issue? Sometimes when you reconnect to PC using Meta Link, you hear no audio. This has been around for years I believe, and they still have not found a fix for it. The only fix on your end is to restart the entire headset, which, while it is a simple solution, it's a solution that shouldn't even exist in the first place had the people working on the headset done their jobs and fixed this audio bug.
